The biggest fish in the sea is also the handsomest! The whale shark can live for a hundred years and grow to over sixty feet long. Luckily, they are placid filter-feeders, a threat mostly to plankton. Mine was hand-carved, stained, hand-painted, then given several coats of clear acrylic. The sculpture is about 10-1/2" long, 8" high, and 5-1/2" wide. He is discreetly signed and dated by the artist.
