Vintage Large 5" Herend Apponyi Raspberry Open Weave Basket Bowl orders 7371/AF Hand Painted Herend Hungary Porcelain Open Work Basket Bowl Ex Cond

A beautiful HEREND Porcelain round open work or open weave basket pattern in Apponyi Raspberry or Chinese Bouquet Raspberry. Some people refer to this pattern as Chinese Bouquet, but it is called Apponyi. Originally created in 1930 for Count Albert Apponyi, the pattern features a center motif of a stylized peony surrounded by a garland of leaves with 24K gold rosettes.

This has the center motif of the brilliantly colored, hand-painted peony with green foliage on the bottom of the basket. This is a larger size basket.

MEASUREMENTS: Approximately 5" wide; 2" tall.

It is in Mint condition without any flaws. The last picture is of other items I will be listing and also so you have a visual for size comparison.

Has Herend mark and item number on the bottom. Since 1990, all Herend items have a date code underneath the mark - a letter (starting with A for for the month of January) and orders two numbers for the year. This piece was made prior to 1990 since there is no letter and year underneath the mark.
