The Enso represents the way of Zen as a circle of vast space, lacking nothing and holding nothing in excess. It represents form and emptiness, void and fullness. The enso circle is born from emptiness. However its center is full of potency and infinite possibility.Sometimes in life, we pursue perfection and chase infinity, only to find that it is not attainable, just like drawing a circle and never ending up with a perfect one. As the brush trails off into nothingness, leaving an open circle, it is also the acceptance of imperfection as it is.

My art has been exhibited internationally and I am a premiere member of the International Chinese Calligraphy and Ink Painting Society.

Frame and matting not included. The easiest way to frame an irregular sized artwork is to use a float frame. Simply insert the artwork between the two panes of glass with no matting or mounting necessary. You can buy them at Michaels, Walmart, etc . Good news! My shop has resumed accepting international orders from outside of North America.

The delivery time within North America is back to normal.
Due to reduced air transportation, mail from Canada to Asia and Australia will be slower than normal. Shipments to Europe have also been affected but not as much. Unfortunately, the delivery rates for outside of North America has drastically increased since Covid, and that's orders out of my control.
