This is a classic pair of Amerikaner Art Deco shiny gold tone and black glass square engine turned decorative toggle cufflinks. The cufflinks have a rounded square shape and a cross hatch line design There is a piece of polished black orders glass with a matching oval cartouche in the center. The shiny rectangular toggles have a thin line design.
A curved bar attaches the two sides, one of which moves to allow the wearer to put the cufflinks on like a toggle style link.
A nice size, they measure 3/4 inch wide, 5/8 inch tall and 1/8 inch thick. The toggles are 5/8 inch wide and 3/8 inch tall. The space between the toggle and the face is 3/8 inch on top and 3/4 inch wide at the bottom.
The cufflinks are in very good vintage condition.
The side of each shank is signed K.K. Amerikaner.
All items are carefully wrapped, placed in a new gift box and tied with curling ribbon.
