This is a large Pink Depression Glass Pitcher with the Pillar Optic pattern accented with gold trim in the center and on the rim. There is etched scrolling detail under a band of etched geometrical lines where the gold detail is. There is a light seam from the bottom of the handle to the base and from the spout orders to the base. There is also a wide pillar optic pattern in this unique pitcher.
CONDITION: The gold trim on the rim is worn, rubbed off in many places. The gold trim in the middle of the pitcher is also worn along the middle, with the gold trim mainly intact where the base of the handle meets the pitcher on each side. There are no cracks, chips, or scratches. The etched design is completely intact. There are some bubbles and there is light vintage wear mostly along the bottom and the base of the pitcher.
The Pitcher is 8 inches tall. The Handle is 5 inches tall. The Pitcher is 18 inches around in the middle and 12 inches around the neck. The opening is 4 3/4 inches across and 5 1/2 inches from spout to where the handle meets the pitcher. The Pitcher holds 8 cups of liquid and had lots of room for flowers :)
