This original Hen Oil Painting Portrait, comes as a framed painting. (3" gold plein air frame) It will make a lovely stocking stuffer or gift, since it is a lovely format. It would look great in a kitchen, breakfast room or den.
I love to paint any chicken because they so much fun to watch and are a fun subject to paint.
This painting is done on linen on wood backing. The colors are quite saturated and harmonize very well. Since I finished the painting with a palette knife; therefore, the surface is textured and is varnished for deeper colors and protection. A saw tooth hanger is attached on back side for immediate display.
