This stunning one-of-a-kind handmade stole features Paisley and continuous trailing vines intricately embroidered on a handwoven, hand-spun and hand-dyed base of fine quality Cashmere/Merino wool.

Black base with hand-embroidered trailing vine over the entire body of this shawl and features 2 larger elongated Paisley motifs either end with a deep plain edging self fringe, bud feature border.

Many processes are involved in the making of a stole/shawl/wrap from the spinning and,weaving of the fleece, artist/pattern design, dyeing of threads, hand embroidering, embellishing, fringeing, washing, ironing, distribution.

Kashmir is one of the few places left that genuinely handmake the majority of their products.

I collaborate directly with the makers in the design and making processes and my prices reflect this, my markup is as low as possible in an effort to turnover the product to continue the production process of this disappearing craft whilst supporting the artisans involved.
