Traveling through the Southwest is orders like a poem. Its landscapes are stark and raw, yet gentle. Most deserts are unforgiving; not so the high desert of New Mexico with its common rainfalls, cooling winds, and varied plant life. This desert also houses memories and traditions crafted over centuries and carried into the present by the indigenous nations of this land.
This is a limited edition of 16 prints. The print was made by hand using a reduction process during which the printable area of the lino block was reduced with each color pass and two colors were printed on top of each other. Because of this particular technique, print quality may vary.
Printed with water-soluble ink on kozo rice paper. The print is available with yellow, orange, or red as secondary color. The printed area measures 4.5 x 6 inches (the paper is cut to ca. 5 x 7 inches). Each print is dated and titled in pencil, and stamped with the artist's initials.
Prints will be shipped in a clear, acid-free resealable bag inside a board-backed envelope.
