I think this is ostrich feathers. Not sure how to verify, though. This was a very expensive handmade mask used only half-dozen times (masquerade parties and mardi gras). It is HUGE and reminds me of the headdresses worn in Eyes Wide Shut. It has a soft inner mask so no facial rubbing or irritation. The pictures do the sparkly sequins no justice! The feathers are super soft and ruffle easily and have a sheen to them that is just beautiful. I am old now and have no use for this, but I would love someone else to enjoy orders its beauty!.
