BLACKFACE SHEEP FIGURINE orders - Collectible, One-of-a-Kind Handmade Pottery - Wonderful Textured 'Wool' Coat - 10 cm x 16 cm

This charming pottery figurine is a representation of a Scottish Blackface sheep, the hardy breed that is seen everywhere in Scotland, but particularly in the orders Highlands.

The figurine is a handmade and collectible one-of-a-kind piece. It is not signed, but is very similar to figures made by well-known Scottish artist, Tom Mackie.
The maker has taken particular care to represent the shaggy texture of the sheep's creamy white wool coat. The head and lower legs are glossy black.

The sheep stands 4 in. (10 cm) high and measures 6 1/4 in. (16 cm) from nose to tail.
It is in very good condition.
