This fancy 16" doll in pink is Princess Melody, the very first edition of the Classic Doll Series that was produced orders in 1992. Princess Melody's head and arms are vinyl and her body is cloth. This doll has long curly blond hair and wears an ornate pink and white satin gown that is trimmed with gold and pearls with delicate lace overlays and gold detailing. Soft pink roses and ribbons cascade down the front of her dress. Her pink satin cape is covered with tiny pearls in gold settings. Princess Melody has a matching pearl necklace. She wears pink satin slippers with pearls as well. A jewel-filled crown adorns her royal head, and pink jewel earrings are on her ears as well as on her ring. The doll have the tag still attached to her dress and her Certificate of Authenticity stating she is #2555 of only 3500. She comes with her original stand and original box. The box have some wears.
