Ornamental Wood Wall orders Art Upcycled From Old Baluster Concrete Mold From India 26 3/4" x 6" x 3" deep

Beautiful vintage wood carving that was originally used as a mold pattern to pour statues from concrete. We've recovered the old wood forms and they make stunning pieces of wall art. The background of the wood is carved with the art work and then there are wood pieces that extend out to create depth and form the edges of the image when the concrete is poured.

This is a unique and hard to find piece that I brought back to the states from India. It's around 30+ Years old.

Hanging hooks have been added for easy placement on a wall.

Note on the backside edge there is some wood that has been cut, chipped away. It does not effect the aesthetics.

To create a greater contrast between the recessed/carved art and the frame, you could paint, color into the design

Notes On Condition:
This is an old Industrial mold that was used to cast objects and items from concrete. We've recovered this piece to reinvent it as a piece of wall art, but it was made for and used as an industrial item. orders Due to this, cracks in the wood, rough edges, splits and gaps are common and to be expected. The photos show the details.

We do not stain or lacquer these pieces as we like to keep it natural looking and let you decide how (or if at all) you'd like to refinish it. We clean the main dirt & grime off the wood, but there may still be dirt residue on the wood. We also will apply a little bit of clear wax to the piece after it's cleaned and that can also come off on the hand. If you have any questions or concerns please let us know.
