This piece is made from sterling silver that I repeat heated to draw fine silver to the top (reticulation) so that I could selectively apply 23K gold to parts of the surface and a light bit of surface oxidation. A small opal (3x5) is bezel set on to the middle of the pendant which acts as a foil to the lampwork floral bead (also mine). A lovely 36" hand dyed silk organza ribbon (from a fellow Etsy artist) completes the composition.
