This Botanic Garden by Portmerion quiche or torte dish is in excellent condition. NO chips, cracks, crazing or fleabites. Cannot see any scratches on the front either.
The underside which is a biscuit finish does have some discolouration from usage (see photos)
This dish features the Mexican Lily or Amaryllis Reginae on the front. It has a scalloped edge.
If you are a collector of Portmerion or know someone who is, this dish is perfect.
It measures 9" diameter x 1.5" high
Portmerion artist Susan Ellis-Williams came up with the idea for Botanic Garden in 1972, when she was looking through rare books and discovered a volume of beautiful, meticulously drawn floral illustrations. The launch of Botanic Garden included 28 different flowers and was an immediate success.
