Antique Royal Crown Derby Traditional Imari Creamer or Slop Waste Bowl
The epitome of grace and style in fine English bone china, presented are two pieces in the signature Crown Derby Imari pattern, the Traditional Imari. Offered is a large slop or waste bowl and a small creamer pitcher, choice.
Cobalt blue panels are hand painted with stylized rust colored flowers, gold flourishes and beautiful scroll details. The pattern is striking on these beautiful antique pieces.
The lid and the sugar base have matching Royal Crown Derby marks with the date cypher 'XXX', dating the set to 1967.
The vertical England dates both pieces before 1923. The pitcher was made in 1918 and the waste bowl in 1917. The V dates the bowl to 1917. There is a V with a slash on the base of the creamer, dating it to 1918.
These pieces are being offered separately - please see the drop down for availability and pricing.
Dimensions:
Creamer/pitcher: 3 1/2" high X 3 1/4" wide handle to handle.
Waste bowl: 3 1/4" high X 5 3/4" in diameter.
Condition: There is a small 1/4" section on the gold rim of the waste bowl where the gold is worn away on the side, not the top, this can be seen in the last photograph. Aside from this minor issue, both pieces are in very good condition, no chips, cracks, crazing or heavy wear to the gold or the pattern.
If you require additional photographs of any specific detail, please don't hesitate to ask.
