Look up the label if you are not familiar with Gunne Sax. I found this beautiful dress along with with other vintage clothing. As I climbed to the attic, I knew I hit gold because of the moth ball smell! This beautiful dress measures approx 55 1/2" long including the 10" ruffled hem. The waist is 13 1/2". The bodice is green velvet with lace. The sleeves are netting with Shamrocks. The sleeves zip at the bottom. Two pockets in the front. I am tempted to say muslin as the material. I don't know for sure. An additional tag has been cut off that was below the label. I washed this piece on gentle wash with vinegar to get the mothball smell out orders which I did.
